High-throughput strain, enzyme and gene pathway characterization and biochemistry
SGI is developing and using high-throughput assays to screen for desired product characteristics in the unique microbes we are discovering. We are working to understand the unique biochemistry and metabolism of our targeted biological systems. This understanding combined with microbiology, environmental genomic and bioinformatic knowledge is allowing us to develop viable commercial products.
