New methods for plant engineering
We are improving the productivity and performance of plants grown for fuel and chemical feedstocks by sequencing and analyzing important plant genomes. This new understanding allows our scientists to dramatically improve the productivity and resilience of feedstock crops. We are discovering genetic mutations that can significantly accelerate the development of elite plant varieties, and which can also help us to identify and isolate genes that confer important traits.
