The opportunity to come to industry to work on using cyanobacteria to convert carbon dioxide into renewable fuels was a dream come true for me. I’ve been having a lot of fun at Synthetic Genomics enjoying interdisciplinary teamwork, project flexibility that enables me to try many different scientific approaches, and the support and resources available to focus on my work.
